Analysis On Sterilization Process Of Cosmetics Packaging
Zhejiang Cosme Packaging Co.,Ltd | Updated: Sep 23, 2018

In view of the many years of sterilization and disinfection of cosmetic packaging bottles in the cosmetics industry in China and the shortcomings in the extension of the old process, we should draw on the international advanced disinfection industry and follow the requirements of the "GMP verification guidelines" and the "disinfection technical specifications" formulated by the Ministry of Health. Design and manufacture of "JZCF-B" series packaging container ozone disinfection system, disinfection effect is obvious. The cosmetic packaging container needs advanced sterilization process analysis;

Principle of ozone sterilization

Ozone-killing bacteria belong to biochemical oxidation reactions. Ozone oxidation decomposes the enzymes necessary for the internal oxidation of glucose in bacteria; It can also directly interact with bacteria and viruses, destroy their cell walls and ribonucleic acid, decompose macromolecular polymers such as DNA, RNA, proteins, lipids, and polysaccharides, and destroy the material metabolic growth and reproductive process of bacteria; It can also penetrate the membrane tissue and invade the outer membrane lipoproteins and internal lipopolysaccharides acting on the outer membrane, causing the cells to undergo permeability distortion and causing the cells to dissolve and die. In addition, the dissolution of genetic genes, parasitic strains, parasitic virus particles, bacteriophages, Mycoplasma, and pyrogen(bacterial virus metabolites, endotoxins) in dead bacteria is destroyed. The principle of the effect of aseptic technology on microorganisms can be divided into three types: bactericidal, bactericidal and lysozyme.

The principle of sterilization of ozone is also described in the Technical Standard for Disinfection promulgated by the Ministry of Health in 1991:

"Scientific research has shown that ozone has a strong bactericidal effect. "Ozone is unstable in molecular structure at room temperature and pressure and quickly decomposes itself into oxygen(O2) and a single oxygen atom(O). The latter has strong activity and has a strong oxidation effect on bacteria. Ozone oxidation decomposes the enzymes necessary for the internal oxidation of glucose in bacteria, thereby destroying the cell membrane and killing it. The excess oxygen atoms will recombine themselves into ordinary oxygen molecules(O2). There is no toxic residue, so it is called 'pollution-free disinfectant'. It not only has a strong killing ability for various bacteria(including hepatitis virus, E. coli, chlorobacteria, and miscellaneous bacteria), but also is effective in killing molds. "
